Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware It is not a double unless you buy the adaptors AND!!! The car seat and basinet they sell with the stroller also don’t connect without purchasing 50$ adapters for each thing. The whole reason I bought everything in the same brand was so I didn’t have to deal with adaptors and this junk set requires adapters for everything! I will never buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from City select lux was way better Bought the city select lux stroller 2 years ago because it was branded to “grow with your family”. Then baby jogger discontinued it and all of its accessories. So now we are having a second child, and we can’t buy any accessories (second seat, snack tray, etc.) because they discontinued it. Tried the select 2 for a few days (borrowed a friend) and it is not nearly as good as city select lux. Does not have a hand break, has a restraining bar (why is this needed with when the child is buckled in?), seat does not fold in half for easy storage (city select lux’s seat folds and breaks down with the stroller). Talked with someone at customer service (who was very nice!) but they can only offer a rebate if you buy a new stroller, or will buy your stroller back (for $185, 1/4 of the price we bought it for), both of which are not great options for those who 1. Can’t afford a $700+ stroller and 2. Need a stroller and can’t mail theirs in and be strollerless until they get the payment for the mailed in stroller. Baby jogger needs to keep accessories of previous models available, for normal people who can’t afford to buy a $1000 stroller (after second seat, accessories, etc.) every 20 months. Or, make the new accessories for your newer models adaptable for older models. If you can find the city select lux with all the accessories, buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No need to look any further I wish I would have purchased this stroller from the get go. It’s AMAZING!! I will never need another stroller!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Packaging I bought this last Wednesday from Buy Buy Baby registry (a gift for my son's baby). The box was taped (with clear tape) all around. Is this how you ship it to these stores or is it a return box with tapes on it? I had a coupon from Buy Buy Baby but I couldn't use it for this purchase. It's a very expensive item and why you don't give us a discout?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love and definitely recommend Love how light weight it is and easy to assemble, very easy to push with two kids

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baby jogger city select eco The new eco model is very nice and light. Folding the frame and lifting it is so much easier then the older version. I like how much room there is between the two seats and I like the feel of the material.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not compatible with existing accessories New version of City Select stroller is nice. Bought it for my daughter to replace single stroller when she just had her second child. However, Baby Jogger should have made accessories interchangeable with the new version but did not. We had to buy new adapter for Baby Jogger car seat she already had. Also tray and another accessory she had from original stroller would not work with the City Select 2.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noisy For being such a "high end" stroller it is so noisy! thought we'd try something different then our first UPPABABY because we now need a double stroller but this is NOT quiet! It rattles with every bump. so unhappy especially with it being so expensive!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good stroller with some shortfalls Pros: -Excellent quality material for the seat and sun shade -Magnetic window and multi-position sunshade are a plus -Foot rest has a nice deep well to rest feet -Extendable pushing handle works great with me and my wife (6'3" vs 5'1") -Push/ride is very smooth -Customer service has been great (Was shipped the wrong second seat, they sent a replacement and paid for return shipping for the wrong one.) Cons: -Graco car seat adapter works, but feels cheap like some of the other attachments for the stroller. -No cup holders for kiddos or for adults pushing without buying additional attachments. These work, but are less than ideal for the price of the stroller. $800+ stroller with ZERO built-in cup holders or snack trey is a a big disappointment from a practical daily use/long walks. -Folds with two hands, not one (downside compared to cheaper Graco strollers). This cannot fold with two seats attached, which makes it difficult to store when using as a double stroller. -Folds fairly flat when using only one seat; however, it is designed to be stored flat, not vertically. It will not stand on its own when folded and we found it difficult to find a good place to hang it vertically on a hook. Overall, good quality stroller, but I don't feel it is worth the price considering some of the cons which makes it annoying to use as a daily stroller.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy in now FYI. I bought the City Select less than 2 years ago so that we could expand the stroller when baby number 2 comes. Well, we're rapidly approaching the arrival and our version has been discontinued. Extra parts too. We spent the extra money on it because it had options. Just putting this out there that if you're looking for a stroller that will expand with your family, you better buy the double now. Expansion parts won't be available a year from now. You'd think the company would have the decency to support their products for at least several years. Guess not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Basic For The High End Price Tag I love this stroller and based on the features it does have I would love to give it 5 stars. The high price tag, lack of parent console, and all the extras you have to buy to make this a functional double stroller - or even a decent single stroller - is a bit ridiculous. First of all, why don't most double strollers have parent consoles or at least cupholders? We have at least 2 kids who need to be in a stroller, WE NEED COFFEE! That's a rant for another time though. The one you can buy from baby jogger (for $40 btw) hangs at an angle and bumps into the toddler seat no matter what position it is in. I've also tried the Diono which had the same problem as the baby jogger and was very unstable, and Swanoo brand from Amazon which has been the best of the 3 so far. I had to spend another $40 for the carseat adapters which needing the adapter isn't really an issue but if you want to use the stroller with a newborn then you need to buy the adapters or the pram kit (another 250$) to use until baby is 6 months old because the seat that comes with it doesn't accommodate a baby who can't sit by themselves. To use the stroller with 2 kids you have to buy either the second seat adapters ($25) or the second seat kit (which you'll need to buy eventually anyways for $230) we haven't gotten ours yet so we've been using 2 different strollers when we go somewhere. When my 18 month old is sitting he is about 20 inches from the floor to the top of his head and his head is pretty close to touching the canopy. More so I prefer having snack trays for my kids instead of the bumper bars ($25 x2). And it also doesn't stand on its own when it's folded. Also the basket holds quite a bit but there is a bar through the back of it which makes it difficult to get things in and out of it. I will say the stroller is heavy, feels like it will last a while and rides like a dream on flat and semi flat surfaces. I haven't tried it through anything other than our dirt driveway, pavement, and while shopping yet so can't say how it will handle through grass or gravel yet. To make this stroller functional for our 2 kids we will need to spend approximately $1300 dollars total so it definitely a luxury item and not necessary at all. If you can afford it, get it but I'd recommend Gracos Modes strollers before anything. The original single stroller has a parent console, you can make it a travel system without removing the toddler seat(one of my favorite features with a newborn), the seat turns into a bassinet for newborns, and it can easily accommodate a taller child. The graco modes duo does everything this does and more and for only $320.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs a cup holder The stroller is amazing! I love it. I am only giving 4 stars ⭐️ because I cannot find an attachment for cup holder or something like the parent console. The one on the website doesn’t work for this stroller.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not an all inclusive travel system I really like this set but am a bit disappointed now that I received it. Based on photos online, it shows multiple pictures of the stroller being used with just the car seat. After receiving the eco stroller and the city go 2 car seat, the car seat does not fit into the stroller. You have to buy connectors for it. Now I have to come up with more money to buy those. I am just glad I purchased this weeks ahead so I can get prepared. They should really state something about this in the description so people know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stroller! I love the height of this stroller. I’m 5’7”, he’s 6’2”, and on baby #5 we finally have a stroller with a high enough handlebar that we’re not hunching over or having to walk so close to the stroller that we’re kicking it when we walk. The all-black, matte frame and the leatherette handlebar are so sharp looking. I can’t wait for some warmer months so we can take it outside more! My only complaint is that it doesn’t stand up on its own when folded. I don’t think I’ve ever had a stroller that does that and it would be really nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stroller Bought this stroller for our first baby and are loving it. Love the basket underneath, there is so much room to put everything I need in it and more. We bought this stroller to use with multiple children but currently are only using it as a single stiller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Stroller Out There! I bought this stroller after owning an older model for my nanny kids. I have always been a baby jogger fan and when I saw the new stroller I knew I had to have it. It collapses so small and the leather accents are to die for. This stroller pushes so nicely compared to other high end models that are similar and believe me when I say I’ve used them all as a nanny.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Stroller! I bought this stroller for baby number 2 about a month ago. Overall I really like it. I went with this stroller over the competitors mainly because of the seat limits (my 2 year old is a big boy) and the fact I have the city mini gt and it’s my favorite single stroller. I think the stroller is light compared to other doubles out there and even compared to my nuna mixx. I love how large the storage basket is and the storage pocket on the back of the seats. I love the detailing on the stroller and the leg room between the 2 seats. I also like that the foot rest extends larger for a bigger kid. That being said I think the seat is a little narrow and my sons head is already to the top so I wish the canopy was adjustable. I also have a hard time opening it up without scratching the handle bar. I wish it stood on its own. I’m also 7 months pregnant so maybe this won’t be a problem in a couple months. My biggest complaint is that I feel all the uneven surfaces when I’m pushing on the road. It vibrates so much. I don’t know if that’ll stop once the tires wear in more but it’s loud and annoying especially for the price. My other strollers don’t do this. Otherwise, I really like it I think it’s made of good materials and looks attractive. My son seems to like it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product Another quality Baby Jogger product! Decided to upgrade to this new model from the city mini gt. Love how versatile this stroller is and the ability to have 2 or 3 kids with added accessories. Love how easy the fabric is to clean. Sleek design and easy to maneuver!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Quality!! Have been testing it out before baby and we are so impressed! Great quality, love all the finishes. Very happy with how it has adapted to fit our Britax car seat as well. Super easy setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love it I previously had a different double stroller and really wished I had purchased this one instead . I have no real complaints. The only thing I would say I don’t love about it is the fact that the positioning of the 2 toddler seats can be a little tricky but I make it work. I love how sleek it looks, all black frame with beautiful leather accents. A large storage basket that can expand. It’s a lot easier for me to open and assemble out of my trunk than the last stroller I had, which makes me a lot more confident to maneuver on my own with my 2 little ones.
Date published: 2021-12-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value and Stylish We were so excited when baby jogger updated the city select especially now that’s it’s more lightweight than the competitor. Easy to put together and slim enough to store in our garage or entryway
Date published: 2021-12-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stroller I very love the materials! The stroller is a little bit heavy, but it’s the perfect size for my car and I can go everywhere with this stroller, easy to use.
Date published: 2021-12-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some quirks but beautiful Really pretty stroller! I will say that it feels very front heavy when using the second seat and it has such a long frame with an infant seat and second seat it makes it hard to steer if it’s not on a perfectly flat surface so walking on sidewalks are difficult. Also opening the stroller up is more cumbersome than I would like but overall it meets our needs for 2-3 kids
Date published: 2021-12-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive but totally worth it I was very excited to receive this stroller from Stellar panel in exchange for my honest opinion. I’ll start with the cons. Most of them aren’t actually to do with the stroller itself. The first is the instructions are quite difficult to follow and the pictures are actually incorrect/misleading. I highly recommend watching a video online on how to assemble it. Specifically when installing the belly bar. If not installed correctly then it covers the buttons to release the seat from the frame and it isn’t possible to take apart and fix. This happened to me. Which leads me to the second con, the customer support was helpful but very slow. It took a couple months of trying to get ahold of and then emailing back and forth with the support staff to have a replacement sent to me. All that being said, now that I am able to use the stroller, I am loving it. Steering is super easy/smooth, the handle bar is very comfortable on my hands and I can even steer with one hand if needed. The whole stroller is pretty customizable. The leg support of the seat can be made shorter or longer as needed and can be adjusted so that baby’s feet are up or down, the belly bar partition is adjustable, the seat itself can be moved anywhere from all the way upright to reclined all the way back with just the push of a button. The handle bar height is adjustable. There is a large storage compartment underneath that can be made even larger or even removed. And you can purchase another seat to make it a double stroller or a glider board so a kiddo could stand and ride in the back. This is definitely the most expensive stroller I’ve used but it shows. It’s very sturdy and easy to use and everything I don’t like about my other strollers is great with this one! I don’t think I would have purchased this stroller because is was such a high price point, but now that I have it, I love it and am probably going to purchase the extra seat to make it a double and replace the double stroller I had been using. All in all if this price point is within your budget it would recommend this stroller!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the stroller for the most part I've had the stroller for over a year here are some points to consider. 1. Only negative was that the lever to fold the stroller is difficult to use. Uppa baby vista lever was easier to use. 2. Better price than other brands for compact stroller that can be single or double. 3. Very easy to attach/remove carseat (used city go 2 infant car seat) and stroller seat. 4. Solid stroller!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Here because the Lux is no longer being made/sold? My wife and I bought the City Select Lux Stroller in late 2019 for our first child, but only recently found out the Lux is no longer being manufactured when we are expecting a 2nd child. We were immensely disappointed from this and have been forced to try various avenues to save us from spending another $600 for a brand new stroller system. To save us money, we purchased the Select 2 second seat kit in hopes it will work on the Lux and we have found it DOES work. We had to purchase the Lux 2nd seat bracket/poles separately as the Select 2 brackets/poles DO NOT work on the Lux. Although we have been lucky to find some Lux brackets/poles still in stock somewhere before they are gone forever, we are extremely disappointed that our stroller system is no longer being made and due to this, if anything breaks or goes wrong with our Lux/2nd seat, we will go to a different company for a new stroller system and we will not purchase another product of Baby Jogger again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from City select 2 Overall I have mixed feelings on this stroller. The Pros: It’s very easy to assemble and break down. The wheels pop on and off very easy making it easy for travel. It’s also very easy to push and maneuver. It has a very large storage area below which is great if you’re out shopping or carrying lots for the kids. The Cons: This is being sold as a stroller that works for families with multiple children, but I was disappointed that it only came with the single seat. This is probably ideal for families with only one child, but for me it was a disappointment. The biggest downside of this stroller was that the standard seat was far too small for my 3 year old. Her head came above the top of the seat making the canopy unusable. I also didn’t love how you needed two hands to fold it down. I’ve seen other styles that allow you to fold up the stroller with just one hand which is very handy when dealing with little ones. Because of these issues I likely would not choose this stroller over other options out there. I was given this stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from City Select 2 This is our new FAVORITE stroller. I really don’t think my son will use our original stroller because of how much he likes this one. It’s much lighter than I expected, it folds down well and fits in the trunk of my Corolla very easily, has TONS of space underneath so you can haul so many things and it expands, and our favorite feature is the seat and how it can face forward or towards me. Another thing is it sits a little higher than I expected but that’s a huge plus because my son can see everything and he stays happy the ENTIRE time I’m shopping or walking. I was curious how much I would like the 4 wheels because I’ve always used a 3 wheel but it glides like a champ! Very easy to jog with as well. Thank you Stellar Panel for sending me this stroller to try out, we may just get an extra to replace our other stroller for dad!!
