The city select® LUX Second Seat Kit converts your single stroller into a double stroller. The full-sized seat can hold a child up to 45 lb. When not in use, the second seat folds up to be 60% smaller than the city select® seat! It features an extended UV 50+ canopy, a reclining seat, and adjustable calf support. Kit includes the second seat and its mounting brackets. Now it's easy to keep your growing family riding along!

Manufacturing Date

This date refers to the day, month, and year in which a Baby Jogger product was made, and can be found on the sticker along with the model number. Here are three examples manufactured date formats:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does Not Grow With Your Family I purchased the City Select Lux when my son was about 9 months old, a little over two years ago. I got it on sale but still paid over $400 for it. I bought it after extensive reviews. It was cheaper than the Uppa Baby, but seemed comparable as far as features went. Ultimately I made the purchase because it would be able to grow with our family as we had more kids. It is heavier than I would like, and the company nickels and dimes you for every single freaking accessory, but overall, I have been happy with it. Now we are expecting our second child in two months, so imagine my disappointment and frustration when I come to find that this model has been discontinued and I can no longer find accessories for it anywhere. I can’t wait to tell my husband that the stroller I shelled out big bucks for will now have to be replaced because we can’t expand our existing stroller as I planned. He will be THRILLED. Needless to say, our next stroller won’t be a Baby Jogger, which is a shame, because as I said, overall I do truly like my City Select Lux, but I never would’ve spent this kind of money on a stroller that will only ever be a single stroller. Thanks to this company, we now own a ridiculously overpriced single stroller.

BABY JOGGER-- PLEASE ADDRESS THE NEED FOR YOUR PRODUCT STILL. CAN'T EVEN FIND IT AT OTHER RETAILERS

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed Do not buy any baby jogger products if you’re looking to “grow with your family” because they’ll probably just discontinue your model and you’ll be unable to buy a second seat adapter! We are expecting our second child and I’m shocked that I cannot buy the second seat adapter and the new version is not compatible with mine! How disappointing. Now I have to find a whole new stroller. What a waste of my money.

I am very disappointed that I will now have to purchase an entire new stroller, rather than just the additional pieces. The category "Grows with your Family" is misleading because, it cannot grow. I would have purchased a different/cheaper stroller had I known this would be the issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wheels and and frame ok but so the wheels, suspension, frame. all good. their seats need work.. it would be a good idea to cut out the extra $ spent on things like a pram and have a convertible seat to pram like the evenflo stroller kits. please hear this baby jogger.. make your seats convert to prams!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So angry this is no longer available I absolutely LOVE my City Select Lux stroller and was really looking forward to it growing with my family...except it can't because Baby Jogger has apparently discontinued this model and the strollers are not interchangeable with each other, not to mention the colors don't across different models. I've thoroughly enjoyed my stroller for almost 1.5 years but now that we're expecting again I'm going to be stuck spending hundreds on a completely new stroller. If I'd have known this would happen, I would not have spent so much on the first stroller. Extremely disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stroller very sturdy and drives like a dream. It's perfect for a car seat and a stroller seat, or a car seat/stroller seat and a bench seat. The bench seat for the sit-to-stand feature is one of the most sturdy out there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY I bought the city select lux double stroller for my newborn twins a few months ago. I only used it a few times. It’s awful and not worth the money I paid. When I put both seats facing forward they are on top of each other and absolutely no leg room. It says each seat can hold up to 45lbs. But when I put my 3 year old toddler in the seat he could not move and the seat in front of him was literally touching the top of his legs. The basket on the bottom is big but very hard to take things in and out of it due to the seats being on top of it. When I put the seats both facing each other the seats were on top of each other and touching giving the children absolutely no room.. this stroller is horrible and would not recommend it to anyone . Twins are only a few months old and already can’t fit. It’s impractical.. DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER.
