Rated 5 out of 5 by from That one handed fold so easy This City Mini GT2 with Leatherette Handlebar is a fantastic child safety device oh, and stroller. Our 14 month old rides in complete leisure in this stroller, because the tires aren’t solid, they’re actually air filled tires the seats has a soft thick padding, and the tires have nice shocks! I’m also a big fan of the reclining nature on the seat. That makes nap time a breeze. The top benefit of this beast is the simple one handed fold. Granted, this does put the brake on the handle bar - which is super handy, but can be squished tight between the handle bar and the sun shade, which We are thankful for, oh and it has UV protective! Finally as a parent of 4, I and indebted to city mini for including a generous sized storage area under the stroller and a pocket on the back of the seat. Thanks again for the chance to review this new stroller - highly recommended for any on the go family!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this stroller The City Mini GT2 is even better than the City Mini GT! We purchased the City Mini GT for our son two and a half years ago, and have been so happy with the quality. I was given the new and improved City Mini GT2 stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it did not disappoint. I love this stroller for so many reasons. Baby Jogger is known for their superior quality and excellent design. I love the fabric, and have easily wiped off small spills. The new taller canopy does a great job protecting baby from the sun, and has a magnetic flap to allow you to check on them. The air filled rubber tires on the City Mini GT2 are made to last, and make for such an easy and smooth ride on different terrains. My husband is about a foot taller than me, so the adjustable handle allows us to adjust this stroller for different heights and both be able to push it comfortably. This stroller is also compact and supper easy to fold. There is a handle on the seat you simply pull up and the stroller folds shut. I am pretty petite and can easily close and carry the stroller with one hand, which is a necessity as a parent with small children. My six month old daughter seems so comfortable in this stroller, and loves the smooth ride when we go on walks. My two and a half year old son is also very comfortable in this stroller, with plenty of room to grow. You can use this stroller as a travel system by simply adding adapters for your model car seat. This stroller can support your child from a newborn up to 65 pounds! If you want to invest in a high quality stroller that will grow with your children, the City Mini GT2 is the perfect stroller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only stroller you need I have used a lot of strollers and this one is a great contender. I love to take my kids on walks for fresh air so I put a lot of miles on my strollers. I think it’s easiest to put the pros and cons against each other so you can see the pros easily outweigh the cons. I want to caveat all of this by saying I didn’t actually jog with this stroller. Additionally, I received this item as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Pros: - easy to put together (less than 10 mins) see pics for how the pieces come out of the box - smooth ride, takes potholes / different terrain really well - the fabric looks really nice and I think would be easy to clean - comfortably fit both my kids (oldest 2.5 year upright and 3 months reclined) - good deep recline that makes you get more use from the stroller - includes car seat adapters - light for an “all terrain” stroller - does not take as much room in the trunk vs competitors - good size basket underneath for storage - canopy is large when child is seated upright - good looking stroller - magnetic top peek through window so you don’t wake your sleeping child (other strollers have Velcro that can wake up your child and get stuck on things) - great price point (you get a lot, very good quality) Cons: - I didn’t love the handbrake vs a traditional foot brake on strollers - the canopy is large but tough when your child is fully reclined, my 3 month old kept getting hit by the sun - can only sit one way (facing out) but my oldest prefers to sit facing outward. Overall, I wish I had known about this stroller earlier as I could have saved myself a lot of money on other strollers. This is a great stroller that will fit most of your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Literally the best stroller on the market I received this product in exchange for my honest review as a part of the Stellar Panel. I was SO excited when this arrived, I’ve heard such amazing things about this stroller and was so excited to be able to try it out!! Let me start by saying I have a stroller buying problem and my husband rolls his eyes whenever a new one shows up. As a mom of three kids, I want the best of the best for the most affordable price. In my eyes, I’ve needed a stroller for every occasion: travel, jogging, all-terrain, every day, small spaces, you name it. This one truly can replace everything I have! My husband prefers to jog with this over our much more expensive jogging-specific stroller and I’ve preferred to use this over the one I had for every day use as well. It’s amazing. It’s agile, it’s extremely smooth (the shocks are fabulous), it’s not bulky or heavy, it reclines, and it has many accessories you can add to make it fit whatever needs you have. The five point harness is perfect for younger babies to make sure they’re secure and the infant seat adapters make it usable from day one. The canopy goes very low which is something I’ve noticed other strollers don’t always have and can make evening walks tough with the low sun in baby’s eyes. I really can’t rave enough about the GT2!! My son loves crawling in to sit even when we’re just hanging out and not going anywhere so it must be comfortable for him too. Just such a great all-around stroller. I would 1000% recommend this to any new or experienced mom who’s interested in a daily stroller or a jogging stroller. It’s the best of both worlds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stroller This is a great full size stroller with many of the benefits of a smaller compact stroller. It’s lightweight, extremely easy to fold up, and doesn’t take up much trunk space. The single wheel on the front is nice for going through grass and other terrains. The fabric seems really nice. The sun shade is huge! I do wish they would have made the basket larger. But overall we’ve been very happy with it so far! Thank you to the stellar product testing panel for gifting me with this stroller to try out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing jogging stroller! I purchased this stroller for my newborn after renting one in Disney World a couple years back for my then 4 year old. We loved how easy it was to fold and how lightweight for a jogging stroller it was. This stroller is beautiful! It was easy to put together, rides great, it so spacious and comfortable for my little guy. I love how it lays almost flat and extends at the feet so my little guy can put his feet up. The movable handle bar is great for me and my much taller husband. The sunshade completely covers my 3 month old and offers 50 SPF protection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fabric rips and clips come apart My brand new stroller looks like a hand me down! Very poor design. The fabric where the child rests their feet rips! The harness clips come apart and the straps get twisted. I expected more from baby jogger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we wanted Really smooth and easy to maneuver. Love the super extendable canopy with the little peep hole windows. The seat is soft and comfortable for the baby. Easy to fold and park break works great. Just a little heavy but that means sturdy frame. Love the suspension

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight This has been the best stroller for our family. Not only is it light weight and easy to fold up and unfold but our son loves it. We have taken this over all terrain walking trails, pavement etc...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One glaring flaw I was so excited for this! I hated my Graco stroller so I convinced my husband we needed a new one. I ordered this and assembled it. Everything looked great until I tried to put my diaper bag in the bottom. It didn’t fit! I don’t have a large bag, but I’d like to put it on the bottom because I have a bad back. I’m considering returning because we haven’t used it yet. I love everything else about it. I’m so bummed. Please don’t be fooled by the advertisement of a large basket. It is tiny. If you don’t need to stash one, this stroller is great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Harness broke and could not get any help Not quite a year and a half and both the harness buckles broke. The plastic was very flimsy. Called and emailed, but could not get anyone to advise where to buy the replacement harness straps. Extremely disappointing. Not what I’d expect coming from a major brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and easy. Won’t grow with a tall baby It’s an excellent stroller. It feels so lux and easy. It’s super light for a stroller of its size. And very easy to maneuver. Folding is really easy even for me who is 5’4”. The only down side I can see so far is, I , like many others wish the storage basket below was bigger. It fits a medium nappy bag but you have to really force it in there. The back wheels are a bit wide and I also have a tall 7 month old baby and I don’t think this will last him past 2 years. We will see. I am hopeful because it’s really nice and we paid the price tag for longevity but also they can’t help my baby is tall. Great stroller.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from City mini 2 omg i have 3 of baby joggers strollers loved the other two such that I bought a 3rd to have a light single stroller and boy was that a mistake the whole stroller shakes on simple side walk walks and get stuck on little bumps am so disappointed I hate this thing do much its so horrible cant even look at it whY a waste of money

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bar blocks cargo space I loved the stroller, except for the bar blocking the cargo space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don’t bother I still haven’t been able to use my new stroller because of a faulty harness. It took TWO weeks to get the replacement harness and the new one does the same exact thing. I wish I never bought this stroller and kept my other one. I also waited for almost an hour, the first time, to speak to customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stroller but frustrating harness This is our second baby jogger and it’s a great stroller! I like how small this one is, Very easy to fold, carry and put in the trunk. My one issue is the five point harness, the buckle cover swallows the buckle and I have to dig around to pull it up every time we put our kiddo in the stroller. Additionally, the top straps slide off the waist straps repeatedly. Add a wiggly baby into the mix and it’s a recipe for frustration every time we use it. The other thing is that the stroller requires two hands to close despite advertising it as a one handed closure. Not a big deal though as it’s still very easy to fold it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Love Love We have the traveling system and can’t say anything bad about it. It’s smooth for runs and roller blading, quick and easy to take with us and the car seat fits and locks into place fast. We are an active family, this meets all our needs to stay active outside. I really wanted the uppababy products but so happy we got this system instead, I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth ride and great features I have the city mini GT2 and it has out done itself. It is compatible with my infant car seat (Chico key fit 30) and the strollers uses are easy and convenient. Its is made very well and I enjoy the tubeless tires. It reminds me of the cadillac for cars but as a stroller. I highly recommend this stroller to anyone looking for a long-term stroller that they will use in various places.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and roomy I have purchased 2 Baby jogger strollers, the most recent the city mini GT2. The strollers are easy to handle, comfortable and spacious. The 5 point harness design with the option to use either/and or shoulder and lap belts is a good idea. However it is not easy to slide the shoulder clip into the lap belt with a squirming toddler. The design could be improved if once put together the clips would stay locked in place. A simple button could be pressed to unlock. The feature causes frustration each time just to get the child buckled into the stroller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stroller, perfect for disney I bought the GT2 last fall for a trip to Disney. My 44 in 38 lb child loved it. With the full recline and foot rest that can be raised, she was was even able able to nap in it with no problem. her head doesn’t hit the top, and the seat is deep. After walking a total of 87 miles it handled just as it did on the first day. The compact fold also makes it easy to travel by train and by air.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer's Remorse I received the City Mini GT2 as a gift from my baby registry. A good friend recommended it. I loved it in the store but in the real world, it stinks. The self-standing fold is a joke. It only self-stands if the front wheel is properly aligned, which is next to impossible to fix if you're holding your baby in one arm and trying to maneuver this. You need two hands to unfold it to use, which again is IMPOSSIBLE if you're already holding your little one in one arm. The handlebar gets dirty when it is standing up. Admittedly, the ride is great. The storage underneath might as well not exist because I can barely get my small-ish diaper bag in without a struggle. The straps are annoying to adjust and kept popping open when I was trying to readjust them to get my growing child into it. It also seems heavier than they say in the specs. I so regret taking this on the road and using it and discarding the box. If I could, I would return this stroller and spend the money on something else that was a better fit for my needs and lifestyle, not matter the price. It makes me not want to use it, go for walks, or run errands at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight I heard so many things about this stroller that I just had to try it out for myself. Its lightweight and just what you need. Its compact and my favorite part, folds down tiny so I still have space in my trunk. So glad I got to try this. Definitely a must have

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Special needs 4 year old-City Mini 2 I have bought many many strollers over the years and the City Mini 2 is a great stroller! I love the one hand fold, easy turning, easy brake, nice size and easy to carry folded. The wheels pop off for easy airport TSA too. I would recommend this stroller because of these things. Cons-I have 2 cons that took off a star for me. First, the footwell is small, my son’s feet don’t fit so it is basically a little lip for his shoes instead of a true footrest. It is maybe 2 inches wide. The second con is it doesn’t sit up quite enough. He wanted to be more upright even with it pushed as far as it goes upright. It needs about 3 more inches of upright. This is based off a small 4 year old who has mobility issues and our trip to Disney.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Citi mini gt 2 It’s a great stroller especially for travel. Very easy to fold and unfold. Pushes well. The biggest downsides are 1) the adjustable footrest gets stuck in the out position and is hard to close. To the point where I will be calling the company to see about fixing it. 2) the seat reclines in the most upright position and my infant appears a little annoyed with it. She tries to sit up more but cannot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rips Easily Ripped at seams within a year and now useless. A very expensive piece of plastic. Needs reinforcement.
Date published: 2019-09-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basket size I have to write this to let people know the basket under the seat actually has plenty of room for your essentials. Anyone who can't fit their purse or diaper bag needs to seriously consider downsizing their day to day. Yes, the seat does recline more than others, but our 16 month old has learned to deal with it. He doesn't like being in the stroller long anyhow so he just kicks back when moving from point A to B. Or he fusses, like toddlers do, and we move on :) Love this stroller, wouldn't change it out for another one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would be 5 star if not for the new tyres :( I use to have a Redsbaby which I loved but bought an old second hand 2012 gt to take overseas. Fell in love with the ease of steering, flat spacey lie and super easy fold, so I decided to sell the redsbaby and buy the latest GT2. I was so happy with all the new upgrades like leg rest and better fabric but found it tricky to get up on curbs that I normally had no issues with it. I took it back to baby bunting where I had bought it and asked if the tyres were smaller or something. They are!!! I tried my old gt tyres which still look like new and the pram drives so much better! Such a shame they didn’t keep the old tyres because otherwise a great pram.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient and portable, but... The stroller is lightweight and extremely compact for its size. I have a small car and love that it fits in my trunk with room to spare. Opening and closing it is a breeze, and I love how the side latch seems to auto-lock. I also love how large the sun shade is. That said, a few of the features could us more attention to make the stroller less frustrating. As others have said, the bottom basket is small. It can't fit a diaper bag, so I'm stuck wearing it everywhere we go. I wish the seat sat more upright. My daughter seems to always be leaning back, even when the seat isn't reclined. It seems like she want to be sitting up to see but can't. I also REALLY dislike the buckle. There are so many individual straps and pieces that have to fit together just so. It takes longer to buckle a kid in than it does to set up the stroller. I wish I would have tested that out before buying. The buckle alone would have made me choose another stroller. Maybe these aren't things that would bother everyone, but I want a stroller to be functional and uncomplicated. This stroller just doesn't fit the bill.
